While some weren't happy with his work this offseason, Boston Bruins' general manager Don Sweeney's overall body of work has been pretty solid.�
The B's GM received some pretty significant news today which is definitely a tip of the hat to work he's done over the last couple of years.�
Team Canada named their management group for the upcoming 2022 Olympic in Bejing and Sweeney will play a role.�
Sweeney has been named as an assistant GM to Doug Armstrong who will hold the GM position.�
Sweeney will be joined by Ken Holland, Ron Francis, Roberto Luongo and Scott Salmond as assistants.�
Absolutely great news and well deserved for Sweeney!
