The massive deal has officially been signed by the blueliner.
Boston Bruins GM Don Sweeney wasted no time inking the 28-year-old defenseman to a long-term deal after acquiring him from the Anaheim Ducks yesterday.
Hampus Lindholm will be staying in Beantown for the next eight years! The 6th overall pick of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft has agreed to a $65M deal with the B's.
The Hampus Lindholm contract also comes with specific claudes. The Bruins defenseman will have a full no-movement clause from 2022-23 to 2026-27. After that he will have a no-trade clause - based off a 15-team list he will submit - from 2027-28 to 2029-30.
