Experts weighing in on the situation have linked the B's to the 27-year-old over the past few days.

Andrew Copp has played both on the wing and at center for the Winnipeg Jets over the past few years and that versatility has made him an intriguing trade target for many clubs.

However, the latest rumours have linked the Michigan native to only a handful of teams. On the latest TSN Insider Trading show, panelists explained how the B's might still be active before Monday to turn the club into an elite Cup contender.

After being linked to defensemen Ben Chiarot, Josh Manson and Jakob Chychrun, the Bruins eventually settled for a deal with the Ducks to acquire Hampus Lindholm. Now that their d-core looks set, the B's might be looking to add a guy like Copp to their solid group of forwards.

Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman mentioned last night that only three teams were left in the Andrew Copp sweestakes.

Copp plays a 200-foot game. He can fill in on the power play and is a terrific penalty killer. As mentioned before, he can play on the left wing or at center, and is very good at face-offs.

Will the Bruins make a move for the versatile forward? We'll find out in the next 48 hours!
