BREAKING: Bruins forward among notables placed on waivers Tuesday

Another day, another long list of players that have been placed on waivers for various reasons.
As per NHL insider Frank Seravalli, a Boston Bruins forward is among the notables:
Oskar Steen, 24, was placed on waivers by the Boston Bruins this afternoon, and there's no doubt the club is hoping he clears and reports to Providence of the AHL. The Bruins originally selected the forward in the sixth round (165th overall) at the 2016 Entry Draft.
The Swede has spent the past three seasons in Providence, where he put up 94 points in 132 games and 6 points in 23 NHL games. With this move, it appears that hometown kid Marc McLaughlin and veteran Chris Wagner are now the frontrunners for the fourth-line right-wing spot.
Defensemen Connor Carrick and Nick Wolff were also placed on waivers in hopes of reporting to the Providence Bruins.
