The injuries somewhat keep piling up for the Boston Bruins as the 2022 preseason continues. With Brad Marchand, Charlie McAvoy and Matthew Grzelcyk already sidelined after offseason surgery, Taylor Hall will also be week-to-week after Friday's game.

Now, after last night's game, goaltender Keith Kinkaid was the latest to get hit with the injury bug. Kinkaid was playing a very solid game against his former club until he was forced from the game early in the third period.

A one-timer from New Jersey Devils defenseman John Marino and/or a collision with forward Nate Bastian left the goaltender visibly shaken; watch the incident below:

At the time, Kinkaid had stopped 19 of the 20 shots he had faced, in a tight 1-0 lead for the Devils, and youngster Kyle Keyser came in and stopped all 4 shots he faced. Head coach Jim Montgomery discussed Kinkaid's injury post game:

''Unfortunately, [Kinkaid] cramped up there but he was having a really good hockey game. Gave us an opportunity to maybe steal one in the third periodhe's fine, just cramps.''

Good news, as Kinkaid was unable to stand back up after making the blocker save. Nevertheless, Kinkaid was likely starting the season with the Providence Bruins of the AHL as Boston's third goalie.
