Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney put in some overtime last night and beat out two other teams for the trade deadline's biggest prize.
The Boston Bruins have acquired Taylor Hall from the Buffalo Sabres and it didn't even cost that much.
Hall comes to Boston along with forwardCurtis Lazar for a 2021 2nd round draft pick and a forward Anders Bjork.
The Sabres will also retain 50% of Hall's remaining salary.
Despite his struggles this season on a dysfunctional Sabres team, Hall could bounce back playing on the Bruins' top six.
We should hear from the forward today.
