Amid the breakout of Brandon Bussi in the AHL for Providence, the Bruins have dealt veteran Keith Kinkaid to the Avalanche for forward Shane Bowers.
As per Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff:
Kinkaid, 33, has appeared in 20 games for Providence this season, recording an 8-7-4 record, a 2.91 GAA and a .905 SV%. He was also called up for one NHL game against the Sabres and stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 3-1 win.
Bowers, 23, has skated in 37 contests for the Colorado Eagles of the AHL, collecting 4 goals and 10 assists. He was originally selected 28th overall by the Senators in 2017.
The Halifax native also spent two years at Boston University, registering 28 goals and 25 assists in 77 games.
