During the second period of last night's 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, Bruins defenseman was nailed from behind by Cedric Paquette and thrown head-first into the end boards.

Paquette was only given a two-minute minor on the play for boarding and was hit with another minor for roughing when Frank Vatrano went after him following the hit.

The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has looked into the play and just announced that Paquette will have a hearing later today for the incident.

Many Bruins fans are upset that Paquette on only got a two-minute minor because Krug was not injured on the play. It just shows that the officials punish the result of the play and not the intentions of it. If you truly want to eliminate these types of hits from the game you have be strict on all of them, not just the ones that cause injury.

Hopefully the league will do just that with a suspension.
