Lightning trade Ryan McDonagh

The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded defenseman Ryan McDonagh.
The Lightning acquired defensman Philippe Myers and forward Grant Mismash from the Nashville Predators for the veteran McDonagh.
Vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced earlier today.
As per the Tampa Bay Lightning on NHL.com:
'' McDonagh was a key member of Tampa Bay's back-to-back Stanley Cup championship teams in 2020 and 2021 and helped guide the Lightning to the Eastern Conference Final/Stanley Cup Semifinal in four of his five seasons and the Stanley Cup Final in three of five seasons. McDonagh ranks third all-time among Lightning defensemen in the playoffs for games (89), assists (21) and scoring (23 pts.).''
