Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman has set the tone early on the second day of the NHL draft.
As the Red Wings have acquired the UFA rights to goaltender Ville Husso from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for their third round (73rd overall) pick.
Husso, 25, broke out with the Blues last season by collecting a record of 25-7-6, a goals-against-average of 2.56, a .919 save percentage and two shutouts.
