A Bruins prospect headlines Latvia's 33-man preliminary roster for the 2023 World Junior tournament, which was announced Friday.
Among those on Latvia's preliminary roster are Boston Bruins prospect Dans Locmelis.
The final ten cuts will come prior their tournament opening game on December 26th. There's no doubt Locmelis will make it, however.
Locmelis, 19, was selected in the fourth-round (119th overall) by Boston at the most recent NHL draft.
He recorded one goal and one assist with his country at last year's tournament, helping them make history.
