Update on Victor Berglund who was placed on waivers Wednesday

As of 1 pm EST, we now know whether defenseman Victor Berglund has cleared waivers or not.
Berglund, 23, was placed on waivers by the Boston Bruins on Thursday for the purpose of contract termination. Mark Allred from NHL.com shared and update on his roster status:
''Per Elliotte Friedman everyone cleared waivers which means the Boston Bruins and former prospect defenseman Victor Berglund have officially parted ways due to contract termination.''
The defenseman has spent the past two seasons with the Providence Bruins, appearing in 51 games and recording seven goals and 15 assists.
Johan Svensson of the Swedish sports outlet media outlet Expressen shared that Berglund has elected to sign with Helsingfors IFK of Finnish league Liiga.
