David Pastrnak leads the league in one category since joining the NHL

David Pastrnak can score goals, and he scores a lot of them!

After opening the scoring against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night, Pastrnak moved three goals ahead of Alexander Ovechkin in one specific stat since he joined the NHL.

Pasta has the most opening goals in a game since his rookie season in 2014-15, with 59. See below:
