In what is turning out to be the most ''under the radar'' signing for the Bruins this past offseason, they may have found a gem in the undrafted Luke Toporowski.
Toporowski, 21, came to the Bruins rookie camp on an invitee basis and instantly stood out. Because of that, the forward earned himself a two-year AHL contract in Providence, and now he's making an early case for Rookie of the Year.
Below are some of his best highlights from this season in Providence:
The 21-year-old currently has 11 goals and 12 assists in 37 games during his first pro season. The Idaho native's offensive skills have translated perfectly from the WHL to the AHL and, let's hope, someday to the NHL.
