Bruins recall and demote multiple players
The Boston Bruins continued their habits of shuffling players up and down through their AHL affiliate.
The Bruins recalled both Jack Ahcan and Jesper Froden from Providence, as per AHL transactions. The Bruins also elected to demote forward Jack Studnicka back to Providence with the return of Brad Marchand.
Ahcan has seen time with the Bruins this year, as recently as last week when he filled in for an injured Matt Grzelcyk.
Jesper Froden, has appeared in 1 game for the Bruins this year, but he could be getting rewarded for a very strong weekend. In games against the Hershey Bears he put up 2 goals and 2 assists in their 2 weekend victories. He also took some shots from the Bears' Dylan McIlrath but he appeared unfazed by them.
