Boston Bruins have one of the strongest goaltending duos in the NHL. Recently it has been the resurgence of Linus Ullmark that has taken over the crease, but rookie Jeremy Swayman has had a very excellent season.

Swayman has played in 40 games this season. He has a record of 23-13-3, a goals-against-average of 2.37, and a .915 save percentage. His goals-against-average is 4th best amongst all NHL goalies who have played at least 20 games, while his save percentage is good enough for 12th.

Swayman is having an incredible rookie season for the Bruins, and it hasn't gone unnoticed as he finished 4th in a recent Calder Trophy poll. 17 NHL.com writers cast their votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 points system. Swayman had 24 points total. (Image below)

The last goaltender to win the Calder Trophy for the NHL's top rookie was Steve Mason of the Columbus Blue Jackets after the 2008-09 season.
