Bruins top prospect powers club to big game three win in playoffs

The Boston Bruins' most recent first-round draft selection continues to tear it up in the Western Hockey League Playoffs.

19-year-old Fabian Lysell quite literally put the Vancouver Giants on his back during the team's first-round upset of the number one seed Everett Silvertips. In the first round against Silvertips, Lysell collected 4 goals and 10 assists in just the six games it took the Giants to win the series.

Lysell and the Giants are playing the Kamloops Blazers in the second round of the WHL playoffs. The Blazers took the first two games on home ice by scores of 3-1 and 4-3. Just like games one and two, game three was a close one, too, as the Giants edged out the Blazers by a score of 3-2.

After the Swede was pointless in the games one and two, he collected two assists in the 3-2 win this evening. Including a perfect pass to set up a one-timer for the game-winner.
