On Wednesday morning, Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs, CEO Charlie Jacobs and President Cam Neely met with the media for an end of season press conference at TD Garden.
Both Jeremy and Charlie Jacobs praised the Bruins season and gave plenty of credit to Bruce Cassidy and Don Sweeney for putting a good young group together.
As the trio reflected on the past season, they also looked to the future and that's where things got interesting.
With the team needing some help with their secondary scoring and left side of their blueline, Neely emphasized something else as being the team's top offseason priority.
Neely stated that the backup goalie position would be at the top of the Bruin's list of things to do.
It's a pretty interesting statement considering that both general manager Don Sweeney and soon to be free agent backup goalie Anton Khudobin said they would like to put a new contract together.
Does upper management not feel that Khudobin is the proper solution?
