McAvoy was a human wrecking ball out on the ice on Wednesday night.
The Bruins defenseman was flying out there, delivering some heavy hits and having an impact on the game seemingly every time he hopped over the boards.
With captain Patrice Bergeron out of the lineup, Charlie McAvoy seemed to take on more a leadership role against the Wild, and he certainly didn't disappoint.
The blueliner chipped in a power play assist in the second period and went on to lead the Bruins in time on ice (22:07), blocked shots (5) and, as you'll see, in hits (5)!
McAvoy delivered some heavy blows throughout the night, clearly getting under his opponents skin. Here's a look at the defenseman's entertaining night:
McAvoy first attempted to wreck Mats Zuccarello:
McAvoy then threw his body at Brandon Duhaime:
McAvoy finally crushed Kirill Kaprizov:
The Bruins might've skated away with a tough loss againt the Wild, but you sure can't blame McAvoy for not putting in a solid effort.
