Nash spent the final season of his illustrious career chasing a Stanley Cup with Boston.

So when the B's visited the Columbus Blue Jackets a few games ago, a few teammates had the chance to catch up with their good buddy.

Nasher suited up for the B's during the 2017-18 campaign, so he still has many friends on the club. The forward, who retired from the game following that season, was in Columbus for his jersey retirement.

On top of catching up with Sean Kuraly, Nash's ex-teammates, led by captain Patrice Bergeron, wanted to congratulate him. Check out what the legendary #61 had to say about his time with Boston:

"I've said this before and I don't know how Nick [Foligno] feels. I've played on a lot of good teams, but when I came to you guys I saw how tight the dressing room was. And I was only part of it for four months", said Nash.

"I've never seen a group so tight. And that's because of you guys and the leaders that you guys had before you. So, you guys are first class, and I'm happy I got to experience it. It was a short time, but I really enjoyed my experience with you guys."

The man may not be lacing up his skates anymore, but he sure knows how to leave a good impression. Enjoy your retirement Rick!
