Coors Light is brewed in Golden, Colorado, which is not far from Denver, where the Avalanche play.
When the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup on Sunday Night, Coors announced a very unique, but also disgusting new brew for fans in the Denver area.
As per Coors Light:
''COLORADO BROUGHT HOME THE CUP. WE'RE FILLING YOURS WITH CHAMPIONSHIP ICE.
LIMITED-EDITION BEER MADE WITH SHAVINGS FROM THE AVS' CHAMPIONSHIP ICE.''
NHL insider Frank Seravalli responded and he's clearly not a fan of it and we would definitely have to agree with him on this one too!
Hopefully, the company would use clean ice and not the surface that was actually played on, as there would be plenty of blood, sweat and spit on this ice.
