The Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers played game three of the "Battle of Alberta" on Sunday night at Rogers Place. The Oilers jumped ahead to a 4-0 lead in the second period, thanks to an Evander Kane natural hat trick in the span of just six minutes.

The game got a little nasty halfway through the third period. As Oilers goaltender Mike Smith went out to play the puck behind his net, former Boston Bruin Milan Lucic collided with Smith, which in turn led to a scrum and Lucic's ejection.

After the game, Flames' head coach Darryl Sutter talked to the media about the play and what his thoughts on it were:

"I would say...they called it charging, correct? Could you imagine if Looch did charge? What would of happened there? He actually tried to slow it down a little bit, I think. It is what it is you know it was the score and who it was. Oh well.

It's reported that Milan Lucic will not receive any supplementary discipline from the NHL, as the five minute major and game misconduct were enough in their eyes.
