David Pastrnak is enjoying a career high pace this season with 38 goals and 34 assists in 51 games with the Bruins.

But he made news for a totally different reason on Thursday, as he allegedly deleted a previously posted picture of him and Alexander Ovechkin from the All-Star Skills Competition.

It's reported it happened after fellow Czechia native Dominik Hasek called him out, as he tweeted the following message on Twitter regarding the photo:

(translated from Czech)

''A message to all athletes! If you are not a supporter of the Russian war and crimes, including the genocide of 🇺🇦 children, avoid events (when you "must", pay attention to the photo) where supporters of the Putin regime, which commits these crimes, go. Your actions will always be misused to support war and crimes.''

Unfortunately, fans immediately got outraged over the picture due to Ovechkin's relationship with Vladimir Putin. Leaving terrible comments on the Pasta's Instagram.

Shortly after, Pastrnak shared another post about his All-Star Weekend, this time, without Ovechkin.

Clearly, the Bruins winger felt the pressure from Hasek and fans and felt it wasn't worth it to keep the post up.
