After the Carolina Hurricanes cut the Boston Bruins' lead to 2-1 early in the third on an Andrei Svechnikov goal, the Bs put together a dominating shift over the Canes resulting in the 3-1 goal.
The Bruins had the Hurricanes stuck in the defensive zone for an extended amount of time thanks to a great forecheck from several different Boston forwards. The shift ended with a perfect pass from Charlie McAvoy, who found Erik Haula with a beautiful high-slot deflection.
Watch the goal here:
The most impressive part of the goal was the entire shift that led up to it. The Bruins absolutely hemmed the Hurricanes in for over a minute before the goal. Easily the best five-on-five shift from a line that wasn't Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak.
