On Monday night, Evander Kane of the Edmonton Oilers set an NHL record for the four fastest minor penalties ever taken.
Kane took his first penalty with 54 seconds left in the second period. His next three came at 1:38, 4:32, then 6:47 of the third period.
Former Bruins defenseman John Blum previously set the record with a total time of 8:48 between his four minor penalties back in the 1987-88 NHL season.
Kane broke the record with an overall time of 7:41 in between his.
Blum spent parts of 250 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers, Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings but played 167 of those games with the Boston Bruins.
It's not the flashiest NHL record, but it's also something you don't see every night!
