He's one of the hottest names involved in potential deals ahead of the deadline.
The Boston Bruins would definitely have loved to add the solid veteran to their solid group of forwards.
But at this stage, it seems like Philadelphia captain Claude Giroux has other plans in mind.
The Flyers considered options from four different teams for their prized forward; Boston, Colorado, Florida and New York.
Per the latest reports out of Philly however, it sure seems as though Bruins GM Don Sweeney failed to meet the Flyers' demands.
With Monday's trade deadline quickly approaching, let's hope the B's can add a few more quality pieces to their roster.
Let's also hope that the Giroux deal becomes one of many blockbusters!
