Nick Foligno's return to Columbus was overshadowed by the special night of another former Blue Jackets captain.
Foligno made his way back to Nationwide Arena for the first time on Saturday, but the electric atmosphere in the building was mostly directed at Rick Nash.
Considered by most as the greatest player in Columbus Blue Jackets history, Rick Nash (who's also a former member of the Bruins) added another chapter in the franchise's history books prior to the Columbus-Boston matchup.
Nash became the first Blue Jackets player to have his number retired by the franchise and watched his famous #61 get raised to the rafters alongside his family.
In case you missed the pre-game celebrations, here is the tribute video the organization made for the power forward. It includes a touching message from former Bruins forward Sean Kuraly that relates to their time spent together in Boston
