The Boston Bruins visited the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night to start a three-game West Coast road trip.

Boston took care of an injury-riddled Colorado roster that was missing five top-six forwards, including Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog. It's too bad, though, as neither game between the two this season have been with full lineups.

Linus Ullmark was fantastic once again, as he stopped all 23 shots he faced to beat the Avalanche 4-0. Goals from David Pastrnak, Taylor Hall (x2) and Trent Frederic, the Bruins improve to 21-3-1 on the season and leapfrog the New Jersey Devils for first in the NHL.
