The Boston Bruins selected Dans Locmelis with the fourth-round (119th overall) pick at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Locmelis was born on January, 21st, 2004 in Jelgava, Latvia. The 6'0'', 170 lb centre spent last season with Lulea HF of the under 20 Swedish Junior League and collected 18 goals and 16 assists in 44 games played.
