The Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning are two of the Boston Bruins' biggest rivals in the Atlantic Division, as all three are usually fighting for the division title and in the playoffs.

Even though the Bruins weren't involved, the Leafs and Lightning had their own fair share of rough stuff last night in game one of their series. Kyle Clifford started things off with a dirty hit from behind on Lightning forward Ross Colton and subsequently was thrown out of the game.

Toronto was up 5-0 on Tampa Bay halfway through the third period when all hell broke loose between the two teams.

Watch the entire incident here:

There were six misconducts, and 78 total penalty minutes were handed out at 10:09 of the third period. Tampa Bay's Patrick Maroon and Corey Perry, along with Toronto's Wayne Simmonds, were all fined for unsportsmanlike conduct by NHL Player Safety for their roles in the scrum.
