Since then, Hampus Lindholm has settled in nicely, both on the left side of Charlie McAvoy on the Bruins top defensive pair, and in Boston.
Shortly after landing in Beantown, Lindholm met with GM Don Sweeney and inked a massive 8-year, 52-million dollar deal. Knowing he'd be sticking in Boston for that many years, it was important for the 28-year-old to gel quickly with his new teammates.
While Lindholm looks to be a real down-to-earth mellow type of guy, he does play with an edge. The latest video posted by the B's shows that likes to dish out a few hits off the ice as well, especially at his former organization.
The d-man also mentioned during his morning interview that he was more satisfied playing alongside Charlie McAvoy than his former Ducks partner Jamie Drysdale.
He also mentioned a few times how he was better off playing alongside some of the world's top players here, with the Bruins, and how the franchise has shown much more of a willingness to win.
