Ian Cole breaks his silence on the allegations against him

By now, most of you have heard the news of the very serious allegations facing veteran defenseman Ian Cole.
The NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning issued statements that they would be thoroughly investigating the allegations. However, at this time, both parties also noted they had no further comment on the matter until an investigation was completed.
Now, Cole has broken his silence about the matter by issuing the following statement via his agent.
''I take the allegations made against me today in an anonymous tweet very seriously. completely deny these allegations and will fully cooperate with the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning, their officials and legal departments in the forthcoming investigation. look forward to clearing my name and demonstrating to the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning that these allegations are unfounded. will have no further comment until the NHL's investigation concludes.''
