INSIDER: 3 contenders heavily interested in Tyler Bertuzzi
As we near the NHL Trade Deadline, the rumours will continue to circulate, even more so, now.
Among the big names available, another one you'll hear more about leading up to March 3rd, is Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi.
After the major update regarding Jakob Chychrun on Saturday night, Sportsnet aired a special 32 Thoughts video segment during Hockey Night in Canada.
And insider Jeff Marek shared some news regarding Bertuzzi, mainly which three contenders are interested in the Red Wings winger:
''There's a few teams that have been attached to this name - the Dallas Stars, we all know the relationship between Jim Nill and Steve Yzerman. We suspect that Dallas is looking for someone to play full-time with Tyler Seguin. Don't be surprised if they step up their efforts to try to bring Tyler Bertuzzi in. I believe Detroit is asking for something substantial.''

The 27-year-old is in the final year of a two-year deal that carries a $4.75 million AAV. Due to two separate broken hands, Bertuzzi has only appeared in 20 games, collection 2 goals and 5 assists.
