Jack Edwards recalls one of his most criticized calls (VIDEO)

Jack Edwards has been the Boston Bruins play-by-play voice with NESN since the 2005-06 season, and it's safe to say that he's had his fair share of controversial calls.

However, Edwards recently appeared on the The Cam & Strick Podcast, and was asked about one of his most criticized play calls from over the years.

It was back in October of 2019 when the Bruins were playing their season opener on the road against the Dallas Stars.

Midway through the second period a freak play happened when Stars defenseman Roman Polak crashed into the boards awkwardly while trying to check Chris Wagner. Polak's right shoulder hit the boards, followed by his head, and he didn't move until he was eventually taken off on a stretcher.

It was Edwards' call that got all the attention though, as he thought Polak was trying a dirty cross check on Wagner, he referred his to injury as:

''A little bit of bad hockey karma.''

Even now, three years later, Edwards still stands by his call. Listen to his appearance on the podcast below:
