Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman was in attendance at the Jimmy Fund with several other professional athletes from Boston sports to help raise awareness and money for the fight against cancer.

Swayman is the team's next starting goaltender, and at the age of 23, has a lot more to prove after a stellar rookie season with the Bruins. He joined NESN to discuss the short time he's spent with the club and in the city:

''[Boston] is a special city to be a part of. It's definitely one of the top cities in the U.S. that loves every team that plays. I love this community. I love the expectation. I can assure you that that expectation runs deep in the locker room.''

'We all want to bring a Stanley Cup home. I have all the motivation in the world to be better...and make sure we go for a longer Cup run.''

Swayman, like many others, stated that the leadership is to thank for the winning culture within the dressing room. He discussed how excited and happy he is to have both Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci returning:

''It's really exciting to have both of those guys in the locker room. It's awesome to have them both back. We're excited to have a little reunion.''

Not to mention, the rookie has quickly become a fan favourite, mainly because he and fellow goaltender Linus Ullmark's trademark hug.
