John Tortorella has coached in the NHL for a long time now, and it's safe to say that he's never been afraid to say, or show, what he's really feeling.

For reference, Tortorella was once suspended for trying to fight the entire Calgary Flames roster and coaches outside the dressing room when he was still with the Vancouver Canucks. That alone tells you what you need to know about his temper.

Torts' has never been best friends with media, or his players, but he's a coach who demands the best effort and accountability from his team every night. That's what the Philadelphia Flyers were looking for when they hired Tortorella on June 17th.

However, with those good qualities also comes the bad. Most notably is when the veteran coacj doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.

Yesterday, that's exactly what happened when Tortorella made some controversial comments about the Flyers locker room, before he's even coached a game for them. See what he said below:

''I have major concerns about what goes on in there. Before we even step on the ice, situations and standards and accountability in the room is forefront.''

Usually coaches try and keep their opinions to themselves to try and avoid any outside noise, but that's not Torts. It will be interesting to see how he handles the passionate Flyers crowd while also managing his team and management
