Did the Vancouver Canucks make a mistake when they signed J.T. Miller to a massive eight-year extension this summer?

Like his team, Miller has been very inconsistent this season, and he showed his frustrations on the ice Thursday night.

Late in the third period of last night's game against the Winnipeg Jets, the Canucks were down one goal and looking to pull their goaltender, and that's when Miller threw his temper tantrum.

Goaltender Colin Delia hesitated to leave the ice as his team was still trying to exit the defensive zone. Instead of pushing the play up ice, Miller circles back and yells at his goalie.

Get the f*** off!

Goalies usually follow the play up the ice to ensure the puck exits the defensive zone, but instead Miller wasted valuable time yelling at his goalie instead of trying to tie the game.

Delia stopped 35 of 38 shots he faced from the Jets and likely was the only reason the Canucks were even in the game. Miller on the other hand was held pointless on the night as Vancouver dropped a 4-2 decision.

What are your thoughts?
