Very tough news out of Seattle recently, as one player fears his NHL career may be over at the age of 30.

After suffering his 7th concussion in preseason against the Vancouver Canucks, Joonas Donskoi of the Kraken has not appeared in a game this season.

In a recent interview in his native Finland, Donskoi said he fears he may never get back to playing:

''Yes, it always scares and makes you think, especially when there are many of them (concussions). You always have to think, since I'm a family man, and I should be a functional father for many more decades. Of course, decisions will be made before them about how to continue this.''

Donskoi shared that he suffers from dizziness, headaches and vision problems, while he hasn't been able to practice. His timetable for a possible return is obviously unknown at this point.

Donskoi has appeared 474 NHL games with the Sharks, Avalanche and Kraken, registering 80 goals and 128 assists.
