The Arizona Coyotes haven't even gone 24 hours since acquiring Nick Ritchie from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin and forward Ryan Dzingel and GM Bill Armstrong is reportedly working the phones once again and could be nearing a deal involving Jakob Chychrun.

Per David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Chychrun has been generating a lot of discussion on Sunday and the Los Angeles Kings are believed to be the frontrunners for Chychrun's services. Pagnotta believes that the Kings have an enticing package of picks and prospects on the table for Chychrun.

Obviously, until a deal is done, there's still hope that the Bruins have not missed their opportunity to swing in and put together a package of their own for the 23-year-old defender.

It is believed that the Coyotes are very interested in Kings prospect Gabe Vilardi, but if the Bruins were to dangle a proverbial carrot like prospect like Fabian Lysell in front of Armstrong, it would be very interesting to see whether or not he'd bite.

That said, the Bruins are very high on Lysell, who is having a wonderful season with the WHL's Vancouver Giants this season with 38 points in 32 games and has looked very dominant at times.

Lysell, at various points leading up to the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, was believed to be a surefire top-10 pick, some even ranking him inside of the top-5. Fortunately for the Bruins, Lysell slipped down the list and they were able to nab him at #21 overall.

If the Bruins were to package Lysell with picks, I think the Yotes would have a very tough time turning that deal down. Not that there's anything wrong with Vilardi in LA, but he doesn't have the ceiling that Lysell has.
