The Maple Leafs gave up a touchdown but ended up winning by a field goal in a wild 10-7 win over the Red Wings on Saturday night.

Mitch Marner led the high-scoring affair with a four-goal, six-point, evening. He was followed closely by rookie linemate Michael Bunting, who also finished with a career high in points with a goal and four helpers. The final member of the Leafs' top line, Auston Matthews, scored his NHL-leading 37th goal and had three assists of his own in the win.

As you can tell in the highlights above, Toronto was up 7-2 heading into the final frame and nearly coughed up its comfortable lead over the last 20 minutes of the game.

On the Red Wings side, their offense was fueled by defenseman Filip Hronek's four points (1G-3A) and rookie forward Lucas Raymond's two-goal and three-point night.

With the win, Toronto's record now sits at 34-14-4, just six points ahead of the Bruins in the Atlantic Division.
