The win Friday night was thanks to, in large part, veteran Bruins Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Marchand had one goal and two assists in game three to lead his team to a win, while Bergeron had just one assist.
The captain's big game came in game two 5-2 loss, as he scored Boston's two goals.
The goals by the two longtime Bruins helped them climb up the franchise's all-time playoff goal leaderboard.
With his two-goal outing in game two, Patrice Bergeron moved into sole possession of second place on the franchise's all-time postseason goals list, while Brad Marchand tied Phil Esposito for third place with his goal in game three.
Bergeron and Marchand only trail Cam Neely for first place.
David Pastrnak is also in 14th place with 28 career playoff goals in just 66 games.
