It's always awesome to see NHL players show respect toward their fellow peers!
Brad Marchand was made available to the media following Friday's morning skate to discuss the Boston Bruins' upcoming tough matchup. The reigning Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche visit TD Garden for what could be the B's toughest game of the season yet.
Like Boston, the Avalanche have some elite talent up-front, and Marchand was specifically asked about Nathan MacKinnon. According to Matt Porter of the Boston Globe, Marchand went a step further and shared who his top two players in the NHL are.
As per Porter:
Marchand on MacKinnon: ''He's an absolute beast ... Him and McDavid are the top two guys in the league.''
Huge praise for two guys that very well may be number one and two in the league. Marchand has been around for a long time now, so he knows what he's talking about!
