Charlie McAvoy shares long lasting bond with fellow Bruins

Defenseman Charlie McAvoy recently sat down with TorchPro to discuss everything Boston Bruins. From learning from legends like Chara, Bergeron and Krejci to what the city has meant to him.
One part that stood out from the interview was when McAvoy was asked about his friendship with his current defensive partner, Matthew Grzelcyk. Although the two only spent one season together at Boston University, they built a special bond right from the beginning.
''From that year at BU. I remember I was just a 17-year-old kid ... I wanted to really just fit into the team dynamic, and you could tell right away that Grizzy was the guy.''
