The off-season is almost over, and teams are looking to finalize their opening day rosters within the next month.
Today though, the Minnesota Wild completed some housekeeping by trading Dmitry Kulikov. The deal sends the coveted "future considerations" to the Wild in return.
Last season Kulikov played 80 games with the Wild, scoring 7 goals and adding 17 assists. In his career, Kulikov has played 805 games with 6 different franchises and has 42 goals and 156 assists.
The 31-year-old is in the final year of a two-year deal paying him $2.25 million per season. This move helps get the Wild under the salary cap in preparation for next year.
