The Chicago Blackhawks hosted the Minnesota Wild Sunday night, and forward Andreas Athanasiou scored a very early ''Goal of the Year'' candidate with an incredible solo effort.
As you'll see below, the speedy Athanasiou picks up a Patrick Kane in the neutral zone one-handed.
He then proceeds to dangle defenseman Matthew Dumba not once but twice before tucking a backend upstairs past Marc-Andre Fleury to give Chicago the 3-2 lead.
Unfortunately for the Blackhawks, the Wild came immediately back the other way and tied the game at 3-3 just 17 seconds later.
