The Edmonton Oilers give young fans the chance to stand with the team during the national anthems at home games. On March 25th, it was five-year-old Ben Stelter who has brain cancer.

After an Edmonton win, Ben was invited back into the Oilers dressing room and given player of the game, and even got to do a post-game press conference with Oilers forward Zach Hyman.

Even though he has a serious disease, it hasn't stopped Ben from loving hockey and his favourite team, the Edmonton Oilers. In turn, the Oilers have completely rallied behind the youngster and have a perfect record of 7-0-0 when Ben has been in Rogers Place to watch the team play.

Although players like Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid are Ben's heroes, it's safe to say that Ben is more of a hero to the two superstars and the entire hockey world than he will ever know.
