There's nothing more important to hockey than the millions of fans that cheer on their favourite teams endlessly.
The Providence Bruins' season has officially come to an end at the hands of the Bridgeport Islanders. The American Hockey League's first round of playoffs is only a best-of-three, so there's not a lot of room for error when it comes to losses. The Bruins dropped both games by a 2-1 score, both in overtime, to the New York Islanders affiliate. A hard-fought series that easily could have gone either way, but the Bruins are officially eliminated from Calder Cup contention.
The Providence Bruins released the video below after their season came to an end. It's a video to say thanks to the fans for the amazing season and the last 30 years for the team.
