Game two between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes had its fair share of rough stuff, and it kept going right to (and beyond) the final horn.
There was a combined 46 penalty minutes in the game. The Hurricanes had nine powerplays, while the Bruins had five. There was a total of nine roughing penalties, two slashing, and a cross-check between the two teams on the night.
The rough stuff continued after the final buzzer between the two teams:
The teams definitely set the tone in this game for the rest of the series, which now shifts back to TD Garden in Boston for the next two games. The Bruins will have to be much more disciplined if they want any chance of winning game three.
