Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm has left the game midway through the second period after taking a huge hit from Carolina Hurricanes forward Andrei Svechnikov.
Watch the hit here:
The hit appeared to be clean as Svechnivkov did not get his elbow up or leave his feet on the play. It was more of a play that Lindholm just didn't see coming when he was skating around the net.
Lindholm did not look very good after the play, as he was clearly dazed and having a hard time staying on his feet. He was helped by a teammate and the trainer off the ice.
The Bruins ended up shorthanded after the play as Brandon Carlo went after Svechnikov for the hit.
