Brad Marchand and Hurricanes goalie go at it

Everyone knows what Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins brings to the ice.

He's called "The Rat" by many opposing fans across the league and even some Bruins ones. In the second period of game two against the Carolina Hurricanes, Marchand was living up to his name.

After dumping the puck on net to Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov, he decided to give him a little shove, then this happened:

After Kochetkov made the first slash, Marchand restrained himself from giving him one back. But after the netminder gave him a shove in the chest, Marchy gave him a pretty healthy two-handed whack in the arm. Both players were given two-minute slashing penalties.

From a Boston standpoint, I like the play from Marchand. The Bruins have had major trouble scoring on the Hurricanes this season, and they have to get in the opposing goalie's head somehow.

Boston was down 4-1 after the second period.
